Description
The colorful fall scenery and trickling stream motivated this painting from Lake Placid NY. During a visit to White Face mountain, a foot bridge is crossed to get to the lodge. This stream runs below fed by the Ausable River. There are many locations along that river for a painter to find inspiration. Monument Falls and Shadow Rock are two in this gallery that I have captured. Both are large in format as well.
