Description
This is a plein air painting I did on August 10th, 2022 from Celebration Park in Clayton NY. The antique boat is the Miss 1000 Islands coming back from one of her tourist rides. I think she made about 6 runs during the time I was painting. I wonder if Ed Hoyser was the captain that day. Bartlett Point is seen in the distance, that is also home to the Clayton Yacht Club. It was an ideal day to paint. The air was clean and crisp, the wind was light and I even saw a few ships go by. It was a great day to be a painter.
