Church Circle is the location of the Catholic church (name here). I visit Annapolis annually with my wife as we have a friend there who takes us on tours of the area. While walking around Annapolis I spotted this location, snapping a few photos. The historical architecture along with the yellow tree against the brick church was an interesting design. I chose to do this in ink and watercolor as it’s a good technique for architecture and streets. I enjoy this approach to painting finding it very relaxing as it allows me to use my drawing skills.
This painting, done in line and watercolor, has been mounted on a panel, sealed, and varnished with a UV protectant. This eliminates the need for matting and glass.
