This island was once known as Hub Island and was bought by the wealthy Sizelands family. They built a cottage and planted a tree, renaming it Just Room Enough Island.
If you are an introvert, its seems like a wonderful place to spend a couple of days. I think an artist could have a spectacular few days there painting, swimming and relaxing, if the river was deserted. The Sizelands thought that would be just the case, but the little island received so much attention they couldn’t have their peace and quiet.
