Description
While taking a walk in Letchworth State Park south of my home in Rochester NY, I came upon this slow running stream with the bridge in the distance. As usual, I always look for a different vantage point as a way of “designing” the view. The old stone bridge was an ideal backdrop in contrast to the golden fall leaves. The sun was piercing the distant foliage creating a warm area of color. I wanted to capture the sense of a cool fall day in combination with the warm tones in the grasses and golden foliage in conjunction with my perspective. I sat by the stream listening and watching so I could remember how it felt to be there after I went back to the studio.
