Description
On one of many trips to Cape Cod my wife told me about a place where her family would stay when she was younger. It was the Jolly Roger Cabins in Brewster, on Paines Creek Rd. The cabins are no longer rented but she had fresh images in her mind of being there. We took a stroll down Memory Lane (for her) making our way to the shore where the creek is fed by the bayside ocean. I spotted these three cat boats anchored, swinging back and forth to the winds desire. It was late and the sun was getting low in the sky. This warm glow came about, changing the grasses and trees to an amber tint. The mood was one would experienced at the end of the day. Its time to go home, nurse the sunburn and get some dinner, perhaps out at a nice restaurant for fish, lobster or oysters.
