The Oneida, named after Oneida Lake is an Erie Canal Boat belonging to Erie Canal Adventures in Macedon NY. Renting one of these boats lets you to travel the historical Erie Canal system crossing NY from (point to point) traversing through locks along the way. The boats are up to 40 feet long and have all the accommodations for up to 8 people. Traveling the canal you can stop at small town ports, tie up and do some shopping or perhaps enjoy dinner in a local eatery. The Oneida was tied up at Lock 32 in Pittsford NY on the day I did this painting.
