Description
These are the boathouses at the pier in Canandaigua NY. Each boathouse is unique in its design with living quarters upstairs and a place for your boat below. One time these structures began to shift such that many were about to topple like dominoes. The historical preservation committee decided that could not happen and put the boathouses on the registry to save them. I always thought they would make great artist studios. The best of both worlds in my mind.
