Line and wash, a popular method for creating a watercolor painting, begins with a dynamic line drawing. In this class, your drawing is made with a wooden match and permanent black ink resulting in a line with varied width and texture. Working dynamically and freely results in an appealing drawing that supports the shapes to be painted.
The class begins with an introduction to the equipment and sample works. Paul will show you how to block in the basic shapes in pencil, followed by ink. You can see Paul’s every step on the television as he works in front of you. Please email [email protected] with your planned attendance and supplies option. Pay at the class by check, cash, or above by CC after choosing the supplies option.
